The new senior lecturer is expected to take part in the planned research program with focus on Smart Energy that will connect to both the AI and innovation science research of the university, so experience of working in interdisciplinary research projects is seen favorably upon. The proportion of research that will be included in the position is dependent on the applicant's ability to contribute to existing research projects and ability to apply for research grants.

Teaching duties will include teaching in practical and theoretical energy courses, mainly within the BSc program in Sustainable Energy Engineering and the MSc in Energy smart innovation in the built environment.
