Background

Recent growth in the research activities and the well-established educational programs of the School of Information Technology (ITE) is enabling a significant expansion. In 2018 the total research expenditures exceeded 70 MSEK and the school hosted over 850 students. Over the next two years, the School will grow significantly.

Description

The recruited person is expected to work in collaboration with other members of our research group, as well as with our industrial partners, according to the work plan and needs of the EVE project, and other related projects as necessary.

The plan for EVE project consists of the following workpackages/tasks:

WP0: Knowledge dissemination and project management
WP1: Extending battery lifetime
WP2: Prescriptive maintenance for complete electric driveline
WP3: Connecting actors through interactive service
WP4: Understanding patterns of vehicle usage
WP5: Personalised electromobility services

Qualification

The position is intended for someone with a recent PhD degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields. The research track record should demonstrate excellence in research areas such as machine learning and data mining. Experience/willingness to collaborate with industry.

Salary

Salary is to be settled by negotiation. The application should include a statement of the salary level required by the candidate.
