Tasks

The research within the employment is conducted in connection with CAISR Health, a research profile focused on information-driven care. Research on the development of AI tools takes place within the profile in collaboration with research on how these tools can be applied and create value in healthcare. There is a growing awareness in healthcare about the importance of having implementation strategies to promote the inclusion of research and development in clinical, organizational and political contexts. Although advanced analytics of healthcare data has the potential to change healthcare, the application of AI in healthcare is limited by the lack of implementation strategies that are tailored to the specific context of those applications. There is therefore a need to provide more rigorous and empirical implementation studies of AI in healthcare, which form the basis for both theory development and application in practice. This applies to both the development of patient journeys based on analysis of care data and the involvement of relevant stakeholders in the development of new care solutions. An overall goal of CAISR Health is to build an internationally recognized and sustainable learning environment for AI implementation in healthcare.

The duties of the advertised position consist of:

  • Research and collaboration with international relevance on the implementation of information-driven care.
  • Teaching with a focus on implementation and improvement work in the area of Health Innovation at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level.
